On Saturday Lorelai, my mom, and I went to Atlanta for a special girls' weekend. We had a special lunch (details to follow in a later post) and that evening we went to see her friend, Ashlyn, dance in "The Nutcracker." While we were at the mall we saw that "Rocky" from Disney Channel's "Shake It Up" was going to be signing autographs. Lorelai couldn't get in line fast enough to get her picture made with a real celebrity. It was a weekend she won't soon forget!!

Miller's Big Move
This past weekend Dan built the rails for Miller's "big boy" bed so that he could transiton out of his toddler bed. Here is the finished product, complete with the Spider-Man decor that Miller picked out himself.
Checking the sturdiness of Daddy's handiwork.
Sweet dreams, Miller Man.

Tree Trimming
Last weekend we went tree shopping and decided that each child should get their own small tree. That way Santa would have no trouble knowing whose presents go where on Christmas Eve. As it turns out we found our "family-sized" tree in the storage room, so we now have three trees to help us celebrate!

Game Day Gang
This year we were invited to Rob and Lisa's to watch the Clemson/Carolina game. Here are Miller and Chase showing their Carolina pride. (Sorry, Granddaddy.) Also, please ignore Miller's orange Cheeto face. He wouldn't let me clean it before the picture.

Thanksgiving 2012
This year we spent Thanksgiving with the Jacob side of the family at Lisa and Rob's new house. The kids got to play together for several hours while the adults hung out and everyone got full on spaghetti and pie.
Lorelai's Thanksgiving shirt. Doesn't it just speak volumes about her level of self-confidence?!
My two precious angels.
Ma and her sweet girls.
When these two get together dress-up is always on the agenda.

Farewell, Alestia
It appears we are not the pet owning type. We didn't do so well with the fish Lorelai got for her birthday, and now we have had to say "goodbye" to Alestia, as well. She was given to a good home where she will get lots of love and affection.
