This Girl Loves Being In The Kitchen

Over Spring Break Lorelai and I spent the majority of our hours hanging out at home.  One of our favorite pastimes is hanging out in the litchen, and this vacation was no exception.  This time we made brownies.

Opting out of an apron, this little baker chose Monster High pajamas and a striped skirt.

Am totally loving her determined look as she cracks the eggs.

One satisfied chef.  No idea why she chose to sit in a stroller over our super comfy couch.

Super Sassy

There's just something about having her hair straightened that brings out the inner diva in this little girl in rare form.

Breakfast With William

My brother, his wife, and their son came into town a few weeks ago.  We met them for breakfast at IHOP on Sunday morning.  Since they live in Massachusetts and we don't get to see them very often, I try to capture as much of their trip on film as I can.  I desperately tried to get a good picture of the three cousins together, but as you can see my attempts were less than successful.

Beauty Is In the Eye of the Beholder

As most of you know, I love being behind the camera but detest being in front of it-namely because I am so self-critical.  Dan and I ushered at Greenville Little Theatre two weeks ago and since we were all fancied up I took this picture of us to commemorate the event.  He thinks he looks horrible, but I think it turned out pretty well.

An Excellent Start to Easter

If you read this blog regularly then you know that Lorelai and I went to see "Wicked" on Easter this year.  However, what Easter morning would be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny?

This amazingly fuzzy red armchair pillow matches Miller's Spiderman room perfectly.

Lorelai got this fabulous purple pillow that adds a great pop of color to her room.
Running in to check out what the Easter Bunny left.
The Easter Bunny must be all-knowing because he left Lorelai money to buy a special souvenir at "Wicked."
All Miller wanted for Easter was some candy and a stuffed Mickey Mouse.  Looks like the Easter Bunny was batting 1,000 this year!

If I Had It To Do Over Again

As I get older and wiser I have come to the realization that I probably won't get a family photo of the four of us that meets all of my criteria.  On Christmas cards I have started putting us in vignettes, and all other holiday cards omit Dan and me altogether.  That having been said, in my younger days I actually had dreams of a family photo holiday card.  Had I been smart enough to realize what a pipe dream that was I probably would have used this adorable photo on our Christmas card several years ago.  How cute are these little ones?!
