Easter Sunday

After diving into their ridiculously overflowing baskets on Easter morning, our gang headed over to Aunt Lisa's sister's house to celebrate with family and festivities.

I sent the kids over in dressy Easter clothes, but their cousins were dressed in play clothes so I was able to snap a few shots of Lorelai and Miller before they changed into their play clothes, too.
Miller and Chase.  Lots of people say that they look so much alike with the exception of hair and eye color.  I think it's the face shape.
 My beautiful girl.
These two girls are as close as sisters.
I think this shot turned out very well.
The gang's all here.

Ma and Pap gave all of the grandkids some art supplies, as well as a book and stuffed animal from the movie "Rio 2."
The girls also got guardian angel necklaces with their birthstones in them.

Festival of Trees

Some cute pictures of Lorelai and Noel at the Festival of Trees.

 Her favorite tree-Wicked!

 Giving Cookie Monster a snack.

 Snowball fight!

I caught Lorelai in a sneeze in this one.

The Moose Is Loose

Right before Christmas Lorelai and I met her WOW girl, Noel, in downtown Greenville for an evening of pastries and Christmas lights.  We started at Chocolate Moose and then headed to the Hyatt to see the Festival of Trees.  (More to come in a later post.)

Tacky and Wacky

During the last week of school before Christmas break Lorelai's school had a theme each day.  One day they had to wear tacky holiday sweaters and the next day they had to wear crazy hats.  Here's how Miss Lorelai dressed on those two days.

Pretending to laugh like Santa.

Dan bought this hat for her right after Miller was born.  She has finally warmed up to it after 4 1/2 years!

Pure Childhood Bliss

One of the greatest joys of childhood is getting to stay out of school for snow days, or in the case of this winter, close to two weeks.  Here are some pictures of Lorelai and Miller enjoying the first flakes of snow.
