A Breakfast of Funny Faces

Last weekend we went to a local church for their annual Breakfast with Santa.  I will post the few pictures of the kids with Santa in another post but I had so many adorable pictures of them eating their pancakes and bacon that I figured they deserved their own post.

While Miller is the one with the official modeling acreer, Lorelai is definitely close on his heels.  I am sure we will see her on webpages and in catalogs before we know it.  Here are some pictures that I took on Saturday that were too beautiful not to share.

 

Monster Mansion Makeover

Three years ago Lorelai got a 4-foot dollhouse for Christmas.  Since she loves Monster High so much I decided to give the house a monster makeover so that she can get a few more years of use out of it.  I stayed up all last Friday night working on it while Lorelai was at a sleepover, and the amazing gratitude I received from her was totally worth a night without sleep.  Here are some before and after pictures.

I split the upstairs bedroom into two rooms.  Here is the new and improved den.

 The other half if a sitting room/library.

 The main floor has a living area and a bathroom under the stairs.

 The old kitchen is now the dressing room.

 I also put chain link tape on the elevator to give it a revamp.

When we did our holiday photo shoot there were some amazing fall colors at some of the locations around Furman.  One particular tree had absolutely gorgeous yellow leaves on it and I couldn't resist posing the kids in front of it.  I could not be more pleased with the results.
