You Know You're Doing Something Right

Summer Splash
Yesterday Lorelai and Miller had their first official pool play date of the summer. They went over to their friends Elena and Angus' pool to play for a few hours. They had a great time!

Amazing Achievement
Lorelai received an amazing accolade today. Our angel who has struggled quite a bit this year received the Most Improved Award at her awards ceremony today. We are so incredibly proud of her. Way to go, Lorelai!!!

Finally!!!
OK, so every time I do a photo shoot with the kids I always have a picture in my mind of the finished photo that I want to get. Rarely, if ever, do I actually get that picture. I usually end up getting something comparable, sometimes even better than what I wanted, but this time I actually got what I envisioned. Woo hoo!
In my mind I could see Lorelai walking away from me barefoot, looking over her left shoulder. And here it is (with several variations)...
