Raising an Amazing Kid!

Last Saturday night Lorelai was in a pageant for the WOW organization that she represents.  Each girl got several awards and Lorelai walked away with the titles of Funniest Girl, Friendliest Girl, Most Graceful, and Most Natural Beauty.  When I asked her if she would have been happy if she didn't win anything she responded that she would have been sad but she still would have been proud of herself.  How's that for major confidence and self-awareness at six years old?!?!

Character Breakfast 2014

Each year the South Carolina Children's Theatre hosts a character breakfast at the Poinsett Club.  Last year Lorelai and I went and we had a great time.  This year all four of us went and it was Miller's first experience with any characters other than Monkey Joe or Chuck E. Cheese.  He did great and they both got autographs from each character and got their pictures made beside them.  We will definitely go again next year!

Genuine Giddyness

These pictures were taken over Christmas at Ma and Pap's house.  You can just see how much they adore each other.  Makes me very proud as a wife and mother to have such special people in my life who care so much for each other and make each other so happy.

Plasma Cars

For Christmas Ma and Pap gave the four grandkids plasma cars.  Lorelai and Miller had ridden them when we were down in Florida, so they were extra excited with their new gifts.
