Day at Destin Commons
While down in Destin each year we try to head over to Destin Commons at least once to check out the shops and let the kids play in the fountains. I have more pictures of Miller this year than the girls because he stayed in the water while the girls kind of hung out in the playground area and chit chatted. Everyone had a great time, though, so that's all that matters!
Love this sweet picture of Lorelai and Bella.
Waiting for the water to shoot up.
Jackpot!
Getting a closer look.

Determination
Our precious daughter is one of the most strong-willed people I know. She will fight to the death to prove her point and will stop at nothing when trying to get her way. While this personality trait can be exhausting at times, it also serves her well in other areas. This little girl refuses to give up. Even if she is dog tired she will push on until she achieves her goal. Her latest craze to reap the benefits of her determined spirit is hula hooping. These videos are posted from one of her first attempts to the most recent. She's such an amazing kid!

Happy 5th Birthday, Miller!
Five years ago on this day God gave us a very special gift. He brought Miller James Jacob into our lives and allowed us the blessing of being able to call him a son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. He is positively the sweetest boy to ever be born and he is the kindest, most gentle, giving person that I know. He is always thoughtful of others and always goes out of his way to make sure that everyone is happy. He is also a budding comedian who never ceases to make people laugh. I couldn't have handpicked a better son and am truly privileged to be his mother. We love you, Miller!

A Patriotic Outing ~ Part 1
On Tuesday, the whole Florida gang got together to watch the Blue Angels practice. It was super hot outside, but getting to watch this show was amazing!
Several of the adults had the right idea by setting up shop under umbrellas. My parents toughing out the heat.
Dan taking videos of his own.
Looks like they're gonna crash.
Nope, these are trained professionals.
