Christmas Morning Chaos

The kids had a great Christmas this year.  Lorelai woke up at 4 AM and had to be dissuaded until 7 AM when she could go wake up Miller who was sleeping soundly.  First things first, Santa had tasted our yummy sugar cookies and loved the chocolate milk we left for him.

Santa even moved our Christmas Countdown Calendar to the 25th.
Here is a picture of the trees before the madness of unwrapping began.
The first reaction as they round the back of the couch!!

Lorelai's most requested gift-a telescope!

Our little ninja turtle fan got the complete set of action figures.

Dinosaur legos-Rrrrrrrr!
A perfect shot of Miller emptying his stocking.

Giving one of his ninja turtle a giant hug.
A floor mat of the ninja turtle lair and city complete with shooting discs to take down the bad guys.

Miller's haul.
Lorelai got one of the Monster High dolls from their new line.
When you take her wig off and push her brain her eyes change color.

Lorelai's goodies from Santa.

This year it was my turn to make the sausage and egg casserole I grew up eating every Christmas.  It was delicious!
Eating breakfast and looking kind of bored while paying one of our new games Hedbandz.

Getting frustrated with Hedbandz.

Moving on to playing Fibber.

A New Theatrical Tradition

Each year Greenville Little Theatre (GLT) puts on a children's Christmas show.  Last year the kids and I went with my mom to see "Rudolph" and had a blast.  This year Dan, my dad, and Ma joined us to see "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."   We had an even more amazing time.  The kids got to get pictures with the cast members', get their autographs, they got an autographed poster, AND got to meet Santa!

A Breakfast of Funny Faces

Last weekend we went to a local church for their annual Breakfast with Santa.  I will post the few pictures of the kids with Santa in another post but I had so many adorable pictures of them eating their pancakes and bacon that I figured they deserved their own post.
