Better Belated Than Never

Every year we get invited to my friend, Karen's, cookie decorating party around Christmas time.  Here are some pictures of Lorelai and Miller in front of our Christmas tree before we headed out.

Step Into Our Lab

I love how the simplest things can bring such happiness to kids.  One Saturday we set up a "lab" on the dining room table with baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring and let the fun begin.

Later that night the kids were dying to "play scientist" again.  This time Daddy decided to see what the fuss was all about.

For their final trick, we put the remaining baking soda into a large plastic bowl, poured in the vinegar, and waited to see what would happen.  I love the kids' faces in the next few pictures.

Dart Dodging

Lorelai and Miller got dart guns for Christmas.  One weekend while we were hanging out at home, Dan and Miller decided to partake in a friendly game of dodging Nerf darts.
