Princess Tea Party-Part 2

As I said, Katie Grace's was one of the best children's parties I've ever been to.  The activities were fun and creative and the decorations were simple, yet festive. 

 

One of the activities was tea cup decorating (real porcelain tea cups).  The cups were set up when the girls arrived and were decorated at the end of the party.

Princess Tea Party-Part 1

Lorelai's self-proclaimed best friend, Katie Grace Conner, had a princess tea party to celebrate her 6th birthday last weekend.  The stage was set with princess accessories and a tea party fit for any princess.

One of Susan's good friends, Ms. Kathy, was the activities director of the party.  Here the girls are gathered around Ms. Kathy listening to a story before starting their treasure hunt. 

The treasure was a box full of princess goodies for each girl.

Just Hanging Around

I'm not sure if Lorelai saw this on TV or if she came up with it from her own devices, but recently she took it upon herself to try hanging a spoon on her nose.  I told her she had to breathe on it, wipe the spoon with her thumb, and then balance it on her nose.  

After several failed attempts I think she even tried licking it.

 Ta da!  She finally did it, although it was only for a brief second so I missed it with my camera.  I caught it falling in front of her.

The Little Zoo That Could



While down in Florida we went to a zoo filled with animals that had been rescued.  Everyone had  a great time and the kids got some adorable stuffed animals as souvenirs.
