Precious Little Pilgrim

Lorelai's first grade Thanksgiving play was held yesterday and she was cast as a pilgrim woman.  Our little actress before her performance.
Too, too cute.

Hoeing her garden.
"G is for Grandpa, who gives thanks for our blessings."

Thankful.

Grandmother came to show her support.  (Sorry about the bright exposure.  Fluorescent lighting is not a photographer's friend.)

"Hang"ing Out

While down at the beach over the summer we went to local hot spot called "The Hangout."  It had lots of fun attractions and the food was really good.

Sitting in a giant chair.

After we left The Hangout we went to a few local stores that sold everything from hats to hermit crabs.

Junior Beauty Queen

While Lorelai was at the American Girl Fashion Show, local beauty queens came to help the girls style their hair.  Noel, the reigning Miss Edgefield for Woodmen of the World (WOW), was the girl assigned to help Lorelai.  Noel and Lorelai just clicked and Lorelai was asked to be the junior counterpart to accompany Noel when she makes appearances as a representative of WOW.  Pretty cool, huh?

Last weekend Lorelai attended a crowning ceremony to receive her sash and tiara.  She is now officially a WOW girl, or in this case WOW WEE since she's the junior version.  Here is Lorelai with Noel.

Before Boo at the Zoo

As mentioned in my previous post, before we went to Boo at the Zoo we strolled through Riverbanks Zoo for a few hours.

Ready to hit Riverbanks!!

This was a zebra made from recycled materials.
