Little Old Lady

For the 100th day of school, Lorelai and her classmates had to dress up like they will look when they are 100 years old.  Lorelai wore her hair in a bun with a patterned skirt, some leggings, and some ballet flats.  She also wore glasses with a pearl chain.  I tried to do her make up but she was afraid she would get made fun of, so she wiped it off before we left for school.

New Additions

About 9 weeks ago we acquired a new pet, a cat who wandered in one day and decided to adopt us as her family.  Miller named her Sofia and she has become a beloved family member almost overnight.  Several weeks after she came to live with us we noticed that her midsection kept getting bigger and bigger.  This past Saturday she gave birth to 5 adorable kittens.

 

This is the 4th born.  I helped deliver this one.

 This little stinker was a surprise delivery about 4 hours after the 4th one arrived.

 This was the second one to be born.

This is the precious middle child, very long and the softest of the litter.  We are for sure keeping this one.  Trying to talk Dan into letting us keep a few more.  :)
